About Us
As both an entrepreneur and clinician, Caroline continues to expand her knowledge while running a busy medical aesthetics clinic—highlighting her commitment to delivering the safest and most effective non-surgical cosmetic treatments for her patients.
Caroline is a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN), a member of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), and a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group (ACE).
Caroline qualified as a nurse from the University of Chester in 2006 and spent 15 years working within the NHS, progressing to the role of Advanced Nurse Practitioner and gaining her qualification as an Independent Nurse Prescriber. In 2017, she discovered her passion for medical aesthetics and began her training in the field. By 2021, she made the decision to transition fully into medical aesthetics. Committed to continuous learning and excellence, Caroline went on to complete a master’s degree in Cosmetic Medicine, graduating in 2025.
Caroline brings a strong focus on skin regeneration, healthy ageing, and patient safety. Dedicated to clinical excellence, she regularly undertakes advanced aesthetic training, attends industry conferences, and stays up to date with the latest clinical thinking and techniques.
“My journey into medical aesthetics started with a deep passion for helping people feel confident and empowered in their own skin. After spending over 15 years in the NHS, where I gained invaluable experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Nurse Prescriber, I discovered my true calling in the field of aesthetics. In 2017, I began my training in medical aesthetics, and by 2021, I made the decision to fully transition into this exciting and rewarding career.
My passion for skin health, regeneration, and healthy ageing led me to open Better You Medical Aesthetics + Skin Clinic. My vision was clear: to create a clinic where patients could access advanced, medically led treatments in a safe, professional, and caring environment. By combining my clinical expertise with a commitment to excellence and patient care, I’ve built a clinic that reflects my values of safety, professionalism, and delivering natural, beautiful results.

About our
Consultations
At BU Aesthetics™, we follow a medical model for aesthetic treatments which means that the first step towards any cosmetic treatment is a thorough 45-minute consultation with our Independent Nurse Prescriber, Caroline. This is a complementary appointment which gives you time to discuss your skin or anti-ageing concerns and receive advice, guidance and a bespoke treatment plan from a trained and qualified medical professional and advanced skincare practitioner.
Caroline will also take a full medical history to determine if you have any underlying medical conditions, or known allergies, or are taking any medication that could make you unsuitable or contraindicated for the treatment being considered, offering alternative options where available.
All aspects of treatment, including any risks, will be fully explained during your consultation, allowing you to ask questions and have the peace of mind to book your treatment appointment or take some time to go away and think about it.
